I wonder who is ordering all of these "Launch" cars ??
I find it ironic that everyone is cheering the loss of the sunroof, yet a lot of these cars are ordered with heated, standard (non- GT2 bucket) seats, cornering lights, NAV, etc
And why does anyone order Chrono ???? !!!!!

Bigger margins on the high $ optioned cars for the dealers, who appear to be specing them. Similar thread on Rennlist. Lots of "unaccounted for" cars this early in the model release is a bit of a risk for Porsche and the dealers who have them as I don't think that we'll see a run on the bank type of demand for cars speced this way in the current economy. I think that a lot of folks are waiting for the front lift and dynamic engine mount options, and those of us who ordered early tended to be more performance (light weigt, less bling) oriented.
It'll be interesting to see how long it will be before we start to see $ off MSRP deals on these cars.
