My GT3 oil is reading full on the dip-stick but have gotten the idiot light (oil icon) several times under full acceleration. The light comes on with the note "failour" and then under that it reads "OK". At the same time the oil pressure is reading 0. When I lift off the gas the oil pressure returns to 5. The car is running perfectly.

Any ideas?

Also, I do not have an owners manuel for the car. Any suggestions as to where I can find an electronic version on line or buy a hard copy?

My '04 had the same problem. Replacing the oil sensor fixed it.

What year is your car? renntech.org has the 04 manual online I think.

My 04 GT3 did the same thing returning from a track day. Oil pressure sending unit was bad, covered under warranty.

 

Just ordered one $78. Price seemed pretty reasonable. Thanks for all the help.
