I have gotten myself into trouble and I need some help/advice about getting out. I recently bought 2 Racetech seats for my 996 GT3. The company I got them from suggested I get the Precision Fabrication brackets bc they were cheaper than getting Porsche sliders and side mounts. So, I went to my local shop and they had one mount and put it in along with the seat, but it is fixed and doesn't slide. I have been waiting for over a month for the passenger side bracket to come in. One of these brackets is priced at $340 for a total of $680 not including labor. Can someone please give me some advice on whether I can get mounts and sliders cheaper somewhere or what to do? Putting in seats should not be this difficult. I am ashamed to even have someone do it for me to begin with.
