dealer sold me salvaged turbo no disclosure
NYC123,
I'm glad you got the issue resolved. This situation had to be a nightmare. This is good information to put out there for anyone thinking of purchasing a car from this guy. I'm glad you got it resolved.

I'm glad to see that 930cruz dug this old thread up to support someone who he obviously doesn't know as well as he thinks. I'll bet that person wished he hadn't though.
At least this brought NYC back to the thread to fill in the real history and put to bed the fact that the dealer was a out and out swindler.
Hopefully people who are considering buying from him in the future will come across this thread and exercise real caution before taking the plunge.

I'm sure there are a lot of happy customers out there who think the world of him. They're the lucky ones. Had he not been aware of the previous damage and sold the car to you, you could argue that you were both duped. Whether he elected to take the car back at that point or not would indicate whether he is a wise businessman or not.
However, he knowingly purchased a salvage car at a bargain price with the full intent to screw an unaware customer to maximize his profit. That's not bad judgement, that's flatly dishonest. And if he was willing to do it to you then you can bet you're not the only one out there that he's done it to, and probably won't be the last.
As a frequent purchaser of pristine, lightly used high end cars I can say you've done a service for the rest of us when we're doing our pre-purchase due diligence.

He eventually bought the car back when I was able to find thew owner that sold him the car who provided me with the bill of sale which included a salvage disclosure agreement. He then had a harder time sticking to his story that "there is no way this car could of ever had any damage other than a fender." He also spent a good amount of time threatening that previous owner. He is just a very bad guy that has done many bad things and many people have had to take him to court.
