997 Side Mirror DIY Question

Anyone have a link or info on how to get to the screws that attach the side mirrors to an 07 GT3? Cant find anything online - Thanks!

Simply remove the interior mirror triangles ( where your controls are ) and there will be 3 torques screws securing the mirror to the car. Its the same on both side.

Note: When you pop off the interior trim pieces, pop them off from the bottom and slide them up. There is a little clip that slides into the top portion of the trim piece that you will break off if you just pull it outwards. Slide it up towards the roof line.

That was exactly the info I needed - fixed it in 5 mins... Seems easy now -but it was driving me crazy yesterday. I figured some trim needed to come off, but busting one of those little clips would have been bad news. I'm assuming the little black screw on the underside of the mirror doesn't do much more than hold the top and bottom pieces together - ? Many Thanks!!

It holds the lower mirror housing to the arm inside of the housing
