Darn -- now I'm considering a new GT3
Hello all. The deed is done. I know you've been waiting for this moment with baited breath. I bought a 2007 GT3, 6,400 miles, 123k sticker, includes PCCB, new tires, CPO condition though I declined, very clean warranty history, super clean DME with not even a stage 1 overrev, white, factory warranty through 6/2011, etc. When I'm at a computer and not on iPhone I'll post the full options. 89,840 selling price.
Took 45 days to find her. Hope to be behind the wheel in about a week.

I'm so there. Beaver Run in Beaver, PA is close and I have a track day already paid for (with instructor ride-along).
And no, I did not negotiate the track day fee

Is the 2010 still up for grabs? Mind sharing where?
All:
OK, I'm back on the laptop so I can type better.
For those very intersted in the 2010 GT3 (brand new) with a $133K MSRP that I negotiated down to $126K - hold please. I gave a credit card deposit on my 2007 GT3 because I was not in the office to sign the paperwork to make it official. So, if for any reason my 2007 GT3 falls through (which is unlikely) I will go with that 2010. As soon as the ink is dry, I'll post that car on a first come, first serve basis for those who asked via PM (with 24 hours inbetween). I think this is probably the fairest way of handling that.
I also don't want to give up too much info of my soon-to-be GT3 yet
Pics, etc., should follow tomorrow.
I love hunting for cars and negotiating the best value (value my friends, not price alone). Maybe I'll join this forum as a sponsor and provide a negotiation service -- I accept paypal

Can we get Don to become a forum sponsor right away or BAN!!! Don for President!!! Just kidding!
Don,
If you want to know more about the 2007 white GT3 please PM me. PCCB is not the best setup for track if you track it often.
PM sent good sir.
Ban...what would the *other* forum sponsors do without my moddingitis?
Actually, I'm quite hoping my mods will be modest with this one. Sharky--u seem to be the GT3 mod go-to-person--plz PM me with some ideas when you get a chance.
I have to go tuck my children to bed! I got some interesting story for the 2007 GT3! Talk to you tomorrow.
Geez. Well, the deal did not close.
They tried to throw in a $499 "admin" fee at the last minute. I'm quite familiar with these fees (bogus, unnecessary fees ranging in amounts, sometimes as high as $850).
Of the ~20 cars I've purchased, I've only once paid an admin fee ($600 for my first car -- a 1999 BMW M3). Since then, I've always declined those fees and they've always been waived.
So, I gave them the option of waiving the fee -- and they chose not to waive it.
As I've said before, I'm looking for the best value out there -- and am in no hurry, though I'd prefer to have one sooner than later.
Onward (to possibly a new 2010)

You are going to lose sleep waiting for your GT3 to arrive anyway.
All I am gonna say in public is I wish you would have gotten the 2010 GT3. Good luck and I am sure we will see you swapping out of THAT GT3 real SOOOOOON.
