On the RS? Where are you finding this? The Configurator accepts it and here is an excerpt from the Order Guide:

870 Universal Audio Interface $95
On vehicles not equipped with PCM, includes an Auxiliary-In port.
Conflict 609 (Deletion of Audio System CDR-30).

 

The dealer configurator wouldn't take it without the upgraded stereo system. Perhaps there is a different option code for the regular sound system. I'll have to call down on Monday and have them check option code 870.

 

I have decided not to include the axle lift system.

I understand that you could deselect the decals.

You can add the ipod option while maintaining standard radio. Option 870.

Sport bucket seats are standard and it is not an issue to add the fire extinguisher while keeping the standard seats.

What you guys think about the PCM system? It seems like it is against the purpose of this track oriented track.

First911, please add 474 and thank me later. Out here in Nor Cal, only GT3s with 474 are of interest to most buyers. On the RS, it will be even more desireable. Anyone want to sell their allocation to me?
