Am I the only one that thinks that was an excessive amount of clearbra? The whole side of the car. I personally like cars without clearbra. I think the idea of being able to take it off and have a perfect car is not accurate, I've never seen anyone remove it, they just let it yellow. I vote for not driving up someone's behind and no clear bra, take a chance on needing some repair, and getting to wax your paint to a deep luster every three months. More uniform look, imo.
I don't have to drive California freeways either. I'm sure I could be swayed to the dark (clear) side if I lived with your traffic.

Technology w/ these films has changed, only the cheap ones yellow, i've seen good quality 3m film last 3 years in AZ sun w/ no yellowing at all (it's like window tint, there is good and bad) Plus any good shop these days will warrany against yellowing. These bras are optically clear so when you wax the same effect will go on the bra. When removed the car is spotless underneath. I really shoudl of done this when I repainted my acura because w/ in only 2 months my front end was absolutely ruined from our ****ty freeways. For my next car a clear bra on the bumper will be a no brainer. I'm actually even thinking of putting on on my sub when I rechrome the bumpers and grill.
I think he did a smart move by doing all the sides and door sills, that is a low car and I could see shoes doing some damage to that floor. The front and rear bumper are also a no brainer IMO, esp. if he plans on tracking the car.
that's why i never try to push people to put the film on. i'm a believer that's why i have it. customer who decide to go with it understand the idea. for those who don't, repaint is not a big deal anyways.

It doesn't look like AutoExpress does San Diego. Does anyone know a highly qualified, San Diego mobile installer for the CGT? TIA
