How do the Center Lock style wheels work?
How do the Center Lock style wheels work?
I've STFA and came up with nothing. I guess what I'm really after here is, for the 2010 GT3 do all of the aftermarket wheels options for an owner need to be center lock? No more 5 bolt pattern correct?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Ok, thanks. I was just thinking about the future and what options would be available. I would hope that there would be a way to to use the less race inspired method of wheels-on/wheels-off. More choices for wheel combinations.
2010 997.2 GT3 wheels
If you are looking for other options in terms of wheels...stay tuned. We have worked w two of the larger wheels suppliers already and have done the measurement and test fitting of new wheels on our 2010 997.2 GT3....will include the pics and details when the mfgr is ready for full market release. These will be out before the end of the calendar year, and will have a range of styles to expand the offering....but will stay w the center lock wheels....they ROCK...if you haven't played w the new center locks, Porsche has done a great design job in terms of safety and design details.
