my track car is in getting repainted and the cup bumper came off to get the mesh replaced. well the short is that its a bit more beat up that it seemed and it might be easier to get a new one.

ive never been happy with those PU oem bumpers anyways and seeing the price porsche motorsport want for a replacement is giving me severe questions over value.
is anyone using one of the fiberglass alternatives with any success on their cars. my ferrari has fiberglass bumpers as standard so quality is along way from the early days of flimsy paper strong pieces when done right. the question is is anyone doing them right...ie moulded properly and made strongly.

surely others have looked into alternatives given the beating these things take and have tried non porsche bumper alternatives.
if you have it would be great to hear your thoughts.
