I ordered a rollbar mount which will help lower & bring the camera forward. This should allow me to "aim" it at the windshield, and up the road.

Hot Shot. VHoldR ContourHD? I have not heard of this one?

I still can't get the audio right on mine. I just looked at my video from this past weekend at Sebring. Sounds horrible....

What are your settings?

Very cool, I just got mine two weeks ago. Tested the underwater use down in the Caribbean. Pretty sweet little device.

I picked one up on Black Friday for $219, love it, wish I got two for simultaneous split screens with different angles.

There are settings? I just left it standard... used the rear cover with the openings as opposed to the water proof rear cover... sounded fine to me... only thing is as the camera is located on my rear roll cage there is much more engine and exhaust noise in the video than I actually have when driving.... or maybe the sound proofing on my helmet is making me think that.... hahaha

Oh yeah, there are tons of settings. I have the non-hd. It has a solid waterproof case. You can run it with or without the rubber sealing ring though. It also has a hi/lo audio setting. I can't get it to sound good no matter what settings/seal I use. I either can barely hear the audio, or its overloading the mic and you hear nothing but crackling and popping.

I made all of this one with the waterproof cover on. I read somewhere the open cover picks up a lot o wind noise.

That's an AWESOME price. I just bought one 2 days ago from Sammy's Camera for $279 which was a good price. But that was the GoPro Helmet Hero HD so I had to buy the motorsports attachment for an additional cost. I went snowboarding today and had planned to use it, but it was white out conditions so I didn't get to use it. But had a super fun time on the mountain anyway!

GoPro HD and Contour HD 1080p

GoPro HD and Contour HD 1080p......Got both back in November.

Have mounts (suction) for both.

Have surfboard mount for GoPro also it's waterproof to 60m.

Have helmet mounts for both...skiing and driving.

GoPro great with full cover on for skiing as it hugely reduces windnoise.

Old Contour HD used to have a buzzing noise in my 997 GT3 MKI when filming (reaction to engine resonance?) but was replaced asap when I rang my dealer in London.

They both are superb and have different benefits for different occasions/sports and mounting/fixings.

Wind noise is an issue with the Contour HD 1080p but can be altered with the software.

Bought this new GoPro as the dealer has told me that there will be a wristband/watch type that can wirelessly linked to the HD unit. You can then view and control the camera from your wrist, very, very handy especially to see the view when you set up for filming.
