RSS Bypass review...

I took delivery of my car 2 weeks ago... I had already done my research on my first mods which were to be a Bypass for the exhaust and software to tie in with it.

Initially, there were only 2 real considerations: Sharkwerks or GMG. Timing is everything and RSS released their bypass in perfect timing for me to consider them in the end as well.

After a few PM's back and forth with Bryan @ RSS (and after having them be highly recommended by a friend), I decided to go with their new bypass and the EVOMSit software. They are local to me and their reputation had been great.

I saw the bypass before they installed and the weld quality was superb.

LOOKS
This was actually a big plus for me. I wanted to keep the black look of the stock exhaust so the fact that RSS ceramic coats theirs black was great. As well, its one piece, including the exhaust tips, so you get increased size, which looks awesome!

SOUND
What can I say? It sounds simply amazing. Takes this car, which sounded VERY good stock, to a whole new level. The "grin" factor has increased 10 fold!

POWER
I am not a believer in the "butt dyno." Especially in a car that is waaay more HP oriented than Torque. Its just too hard to judge. My M5 is the exact same way.... Its waaaay faster than it feels. This also comes into play with the GT3. The one thing I can say that the bypass combined with the software has provided a much more "responsive" feel to the car. A bit more pep than before. My engine is still VERY young so Im sure its just going to get better and better.

SERVICE
This area is literally just as important to me as the mods themselves. I dont care how much this mod or that mod improves any aspect of my car. If the service from the shop isnt up to par, I pass. RSS shined in this area well beyond anything I have experienced at any other shop I have been to. EVER. Bryan & Mike were great to deal with from beginning to end. 100% straight shooters with no b.s. Their shop is clean enough to eat off of the floor!

Overall I am thrilled with the mods and RSS. I highly recommend their product and service!

By any chance did you dyno stock vs. mods?
Also how about a video clip to hear that badboy.

Thanks very much for the nice comments. The new Xpipe system has been very well received. It was our pleasure to serve you - customer satisfaction is what it's all about. After all, we are enthusiasts just like you. Glad you're happy, looking forward to some additional pics and vids. Your GT3 is coming together nicely!

Thanks again, Team RSS & Stuttgart Performance
