I doubt that this was caused by a speed bump. This looks like an uncontrolled slide followed by a violent crash against a post or something.

I read somewhere that it is expected that in the US, 300-400 CGT owners will crash them soon after the purchase. These guys' egos are too big to understand that they need to learn to drive a true race car.

And... this will help CGT's resale value, as there will be fewer of them

so, lemme get this straight - half of ALL US production will be not only crashed but crashed soon after purchase? uh, yeah right. i bet at least 1/4 of them will probably not even be driven more than a couple hundred miles/year and those miles will be garage queen type miles. insurance companies are much better "guessers" about their wallet than whoever made this silly statement. if that's the case, how come insurance is only $2700/yr for our $450k CGT while the $200k Stradale is $1800? The CGT isn't even 2 Cayenne TTs in insurance terms and the CT is classified as one of our daily drivers while the CGT is an under 7500 miles/year pleasure car. And, this is after there is already a $150k CGT damage repair in claims history (in my very same city even).

"Ben, if I were you I would run up there late at night and get some parts."

LOL, my first thought was "I wonder if I can pick up those rear tires" :-)

They say 25% of GT2's are totalled already, it's not that far of a stretch to say 25-50% of CGT's will end up the same. I hope I'm wrong, but....

My guess...an oversteer spin and crashed into a pole or tree. May have lifted off the accelerator at the wrong time...

From my understanding, there's another CGT that just crashed in Vancouver Canada

It's gonna be tough for "they" to be right based on these most recent wrecks since they are obviously not totalled, meaning "they" are batting about 0% so far.

Notice the GT was on the wrong side of the road? I am wondering how he managed that.
