I traded my 997S for a 2010 GT3 , ...well, more like

I bought this car to track, so I need to sort a few things out with your help. I didn't order it, but found one that was very close to my specs.
One thing I will eventually change is its Adaptive Sport Seats. Until then...

I need to mount a fire extinguisher. Forum research shows no mounts that will mount directly onto the Adap Sport Seats. Correct?

That being true, I might as well get a roll bar as I need one anyway. I can mount the extinguisher to that. I will install it myself. I understand my choices are;
DAS - very hard to get into the car
GMG
RSS
Sharkworks

Can you guys please comment on;
quality of construction
ease of installation and fitment
range of seat movement after installation.

I will eventually want the Club Sport Seats, but for 8k, I will probably just need to duct tape myself in these seats for a while!

 

Hello Tedean, I also was searching for halon fire extinguiser for my new turbo with sport adap. seats. I bought one from speedtactics.com great price and service. It also fit perfect on my seats with a ten minute install.

 

We have done over a dozen 2010 GT3's... In various states of tune.

We have two options for roll bars

The World Challenge Harness roll bar and the RSR roll bar.

This looks like the bar I have been looking for. As long as my fixed back sport seats can go all the way back and don't hit the carbon on the rear of the seat I am in. BTW, looks like the rear mounts for this bar mount the the strut towers. Is the correct?

Now just pick a color I guess, mine is white too.

 

Yes our roll bar is designed to allow the seats to be moved back all the way.

In addition our roll bar allows for both driver and passenger to be moved back all the way a nice feature not found on other bars on the market.


Additionally no cutting of the chassis is required as with the factory roll bar. Its a complete bolt in bar with upto 6 points of attachment.
