Used 997.1 dealer update

I've been looking for a used 07/08 3 for awhile now. Of the 2 cars that have the options/mileage I want, both have been sitting
at the dealers for close to 8 months. These dealers, and many others, are struggling to get what they paid for these cars and will not negotiate much w/ a ready buyer like me. These cars were about $125K MSRP and were traded in for approx $90-100K credit on their next purchase with the dealer hoping to flip them quick for a good profit. These same dealers now realize they were greedy, paid too much, but now won't sell below $90K. I'm thinking they've got to start dealing w/ lower prices in the mid 80's or they're going to lose even more $ by hanging on through the winter.

dont let the $$ alone drive your decision. get the cleanest and lowest mile car you can afford. well driven or not, track miles put a lot of wear and tear on a car and i would try to steer clear of those. not so easy to do with a track focused car like the GT3. if you intend to keep it for a good while, paying a little extra for the right car could very well pay for itself on the back end.

Azzurri is infamous around these parts
I agree with Bara. A couple of thousand bucks one way or the other shouldn't hold you back. In my case I went in with a firm offer and a firm price and stuck to it - the dealer finally gave in (after a month); particularly when it was clear I was a ready and willing buyer and no one else was beating down the door. I don't know if you're looking at a super low mile, Porsche certified, non-tracked car as I was, but if so, that's worth a fair amount of money. But again, don't be afraid to show the dealer your money; none of them are seeing as much as they'd like these days and a low buyer beats no buyer.

You have to get that blue one... that one is so nice/rare.... Keep pushing etc... I'm sure you're pretty close by now? I thought they'd let it go for 90k?
