Better track car

Gus F Jan 25, 2010 06:00 PM

I say both cars are great, Black!! full leather!! and Black interior trim!!!.

In any case if the car will see some serious track time (And that is the only way it has to be with a GT3), then both cars have pros and cons:

#2,Doesn't have the interesting Dynamic Engine Mounts, but Wevo has excellent Aftermarket units at a great price, besides you will get the useless Front Axle Lifting System ($3,490).

but #2 has PCCB's (important for resale), to be replaced with Steel Units for the track duties.

Actually most options are useless for the track, it is a shame Porsche does not sell a real track oriented version in America.

good luck,

Hardcore track guys are buying the RS, the GT3 is the more street than track car. Go with Option 2, will be an super nice daily driver...

What's your intended use? Since I don't know the answer to that question, I would go for option 1 as its is the most suitable for both duties, although it is clearly more street than track-oriented. I don't care about the 60+ miles in the odometer, though.

None of these choices is at Schneider + Nelson. The one left on their lot, by the way, is much more track-oriented than any of these. As I said yesterday, they are very willing to make a fair deal. I got a competitive trade-in and a decent discount. Tried to PM you but failed in my attempt.

Option#1.......plus it has the front axle lift. Lots of $$$ tied up in PCCB for #2.

Im tracking this car 100%, I use the streets as if they are a track as well :p ... but I dont know if I love the painted ext clr center console... but both cars are just so nice... I think I like option 1 for the pccb's I like the fact that there lighter.
