you said it only takes you 4 minutes to change pads. what tool and procedure are you using. do you take the calipers off and change the bolts at that time??

If you use anything but a pair of pliers when changing your brake pads, you are doing it wrong. All late model Porsche pads are changed like this:

KSCS Pad Change Video.

1. Pull out the retaining clip
2. Push out the rod
3. remove the back spring
4. Spread open the pads
5. Remove pads

Reverse order to put in your track pads. By the time you get to the fourth wheel, you will be an expert, and as fast as KSCS.

AS far as Porsche Motorsports North America is concerned, the Green pads are the only ones to use, irrespective of whether you have a GT3, GT2 or TT with ceramics.. I understand the Greens can be used on some of the Motorsports steel brakes, including being the pad of choice fot the Cup Cars and RSR's..

The PCCB's on my GT3 have one more item that has to be removed and that is a nut on the inside of the rod, as well as the retaining clip.. No biggie, just use a wrench or socket to remove said bolt, then the rest of the procedure is exactly as in the Video.

Thanks fo posting the Video by the way.

4 minutes per wheel to swap pads!

You should make a video... 16 minute pads.

Kinda like 6 minute abs. But better!

The rears do not have the nut like the fronts... The rears are identical (in terms of the procedure) to the ones in the video.

Now I have done it a few times, I could probably do it quicker if the wheels were already off the car on all 4 corners.. I do have an AWESOME pad spreader that helps...
