GT3 Snow

2+ feet more snow this past week. I still did not miss a single day in the snow. Simply add snow tires and off you go.

Great pics. I'm glad to see you're enjoying the GT3 regardless of the weather.

Quite right to drive it in the snow. The GT3 is an all-weather car with a heater, lights and wipers. I would love to do the same but I have the misfortune to live in So Cal where the roads are always boringly dry.

What tires are you running in the winter? How does the car handle on snow? Do you keep the traction control off?

I only have a carrera, but I do the same thing. Up here in Canada we have snow almost half the year, and I'm not willing to miss a day of driving it!

Tire Rack did not have any winter tires listed in GT3 sizes a couple days ago. Now there are 3 options. Just ordered some Pirreli Sottozero II's. Should be fun!

I have Sottozeros on my 997 Turbo. They are excellent. I won't use the RS in winter though as much fun as it might be. Lack of rustproofing has me worried. Goes into hibernation in 2 weeks.
