Hey guys,

im still trying to sort out some new brakes all round for my car, and the car currently has PF front discs & hats.

now the most economical way for me to replace the front discs is to buy a PF front disc set as i can retain the existing hat's, however PF have told me that i can only use the PF discs with PF pads because they are size matched.

now dont get me wrong, i am sure there is a possibility that the disc may be a slightly different size to OEM, but surely this is a load of BS.

i dont want the PF pads because they are a far more agressive pad than i have decided to go with, but want to check to see if anyone has any knowledge of this. so to sumarise

if i get PF discs on the front must i use PF pads? or are any pads fair game?

I believe you need to use PF pads since the diameter of the disc is much narrow than OEM

anyway i guess i have to look for a different front rotor then.
