Same thing happened to me drafting in a closed car while racing, sand and grit got sucked in thru the netted window frame and I was spitting sand and grit out--in a closed-face helmet! (I'd taken the visor off, assuming I wouldn't need it at the time.)

I've driven in several convertibles in traffic and never got things sucked in to hit me in the head. This is pretty scary and dangerous for a street car. I'd have thought they would've tuned this possibility out in the wind tunnel.
