It is a public road. Traffic laws also apply there. Passing others on the right hand side could get you a fine and will get you a temporary ban if the marshalls see it.

How extensive is the check for DAQ or Video equipment? I ask because I'm seeing a lot of video still coming from amateurs and also because I am thinking of bringing a data kit along with me to document my next trip over.
