both of those pressures seem low to me for street driving...if you find you are wearing the edges out before the center I would use higher pressures both front and rear..I would go by the door before the book cause the manual doesn't know what tires your car came with

found the answer. the door sticker is later info after porsche decided it worked better than the lower number printed in the manual.

for racing, its 25 psi front and 28 psi rear cold pressure at 68* ambient temperature.

once heated, the target pressure is 32/36 for the pcups

For the Texans on here:

If the ideal cold pressures at 68* are 25/28, what would you set the cold pressures for on an 80* morning? Or would it be the same since your the relative spread between cold and hot would be the same regardless of tempurature?

the important thing is to end up with the 32/36 hot pressure and whatever cold pressure it takes to achieve that.

my hunch is that you might be right with the same spread comment. i will try it this weekend and if im over or under, i will know. weather though for this saturday morning is in the high 60's lol with a high of 77 for the day.

my tires are evenly worn. my guess is that the 7GT3 tires have huge tire contact patches and thus need less pressure to keep the car afloat.

my carrera S factory spec called for 33/39 psi cold pressure with its smaller tires.

What track are you going to? Who's hosting the event?

I'm taking my car into Boardwalk today to get my bushings flipped and a more aggresive alignment. Once I get my Pagid's in and my SRF fluid flushed I'll be anxious to get back out on the track.

Street driving: 29/33 cold. Perfectly even wear.
Track - I shoot for 34/35 (or 34/36) hot

Would've liked going to this but already have commitments this weekend and I'm definitely not taking my car back out on the track until I get the brakes done. ECR KILLED the stock brakes.

Are you running Pagid's?
