I remember seeing unsold RS's last time around also for over MSRP.

Been offered list price on a showroom floor example in California(150k+ msrp) after months of being told that they were 15-20k over. Times are changing.

I don't think the market is soft. Dealer in Dallas got 9 of em and they were all sold imediately. With people wanting them. Once they get out and the average guy sees one, the minds will change. Right now, only the people who "know" about them are after em.

It's likely the current financial climate. There seemed to be significantly more demand for the .1 version though latest .2 is has more improvements over the base car than before. Wonder if Porsche would put out a 2012 model of the current GT3RS especially with pending release of the next gen 991? I'd say it's unlikely.

Check some of the usual sites and you will find no less than 20 RSs brand new advertised. At least twice as many GT3s, not to mention the slightly used ones. I see the RS at 130k come fall. Sign of the times for sure.

Scott, 130k for an RS in 3 to 4 months,,,,, that's crazy! No way unless the something drastic happens in the economy. 2011 Base Price is $135,500 and most are being spec'd out in the 145-155 range. Some more! Out of all the Porsches, the RS model seems to hold it's value the best.
