Tracking in the rain on Pirelli Corsas?
Great, I was going to ask if you have drivin it on the street in the rain before the event? test a few corners here and there, thats what I try to do in early morning runs before anybody else is on the roads. Push to see where the limits are and conditions, rain, early morning dew, hot roads etc.
The track is addicting. That's why you have a Porsche.

This is the start of a very expensive, slippery slope mate.... but its got to be one of the best ways to spend time with your Porsche! Congrats and welcome to the club!!!
I'm planning to add the same on my car soon.
I read a quote by Peter Egan the other day who was talking about motorcycle racing, but it certainly applies to cars as well : "[Motorcycle]... racing makes heroin addiction look like a vague longing for something salty."
I've got a PCA DE event tomorrow and was looking forward to getting the GT2 on the track for the first time, but it's running the Pirelli Corsa System it's supposed to rain off and on the whole day, is it worth it even trying it on those (I'm a track newbie, btw) or should I see if I can swap out for some PS2s or something at the track?

Yep, that's me w/ the ghetto yellow tape, hehe. I'm definitely doing the next Autobahn, and whatever events I can this summer, let me know if you have any suggestions! The toughest part is timing, w/ most DEs being during the week...

What do you mean ghetto - the tape matches the calipers...

True, it does match... I'm gonna have Napleton make me some stickers like the ones on the gray/red RS, yellow border, black background, and yellow #s.
