First OP, absolutely gorgeous RS. Congrats.
That's the factory half cage. Had it on my 997.1 GT3 and not happy. It creeked too much. Still a very nice piece.
There are other choices, GMG, RSS and Dazz Sport bars. All attach to rear shock mounts.

It is the factory Clubsport bar. The only noise it makes is where it rubs against the coat hanger on the passenger side. I'm trying to stuff some felt tape in there, but its a very tight fit.

Completely different animal. More power, louder engine, handling more urgent, rear view mirror more useless. 
Not nearly as simple as the 996-3 with the PCM, PSM, TC, nav, etc... I still need to give it a good run through the RPM range to really see what it can do, but so far I'm loving the new wheels.
