Bad Experience today, NEED HELP with Racing seats for GT3!

I'm looking for seat options that will work in a 997 GT3. All opinions would be greatly appreciated! I tried the Sparco Evo 2 Plus and they're too wide.

Spg xl's worked in my old car with the gmg bar. It's tight but fits without any rubbing. I would check to see if the side brackets and slides that you have from bk auto work on recaro's. They may have specific requirements. I am 6' 4" 230 and loved the spg with the low mount from bk

Sorry no experience with sparco seats

i am sorry you have to go through this ****.
but dealers are not very bright and so are most reseller. any seat wil work with any sliders. you need someone with a BRAIN and can fabricate. installing seats are very simple. like eating peanut better.

996 sliders will work. if installer tells you otherwise, they are full of ****.

Sorry to hear your trouble. It should all work together without too much trouble, just take the car to a proper race shop.
The seats are really worth it!
Best of luck, w

If brey krause has the side mounts that works with sparco seats(clueless if seat fit widthwise) and works on the stock sliders that's all u need to order. U need subbar mount as well. Mike

One thing to keep in mind when installing an aftermarket racing seat in a 997 is that you are eliminating the thorax airbag. The Porsche OEM sport buckets are the only seats that retain the airbag and also function with a 6 pt harness. Something to consider, especially if you plan on a lot of street driving.
