GT3 RS if you don't mind a little harder street ride. Plus the RS will hold its value better.

There are many, many posts/threads regarding the GT3 vs. Turbo issue on this site and others. You should read them and decide what your priorities are.

If it were me, I would buy the RS for sure.

If you need 4 seats in your Porsche, and want a softer ride for the street, go for the Turbo S. If this is a track toy, and some street usage, buy the GT3RS.

+1 on above - horses for courses. Both great cars, depends on your priorities:
- track use
- 4 seats desirable?
- ride stiffness
- looks (personally, GT3 RS is too much for driving to work every day, but Turbo S would be fine. Your situation is undoubtedly different)

concur.
some wrap the whole car, but you really dont get much hit elsewhere.
as for sill area, no matter how much film you put on it, if you are remotely fast, it gets chewed up. my sill was rash city after 60 min of track driving.

After picking up my 11' RS this weekend, my thoughs might be a bit one-sided ....... I mean to the point of that I've crossed-off any more "I want" cars. This is the one!

One thing I will share........ If you like to feel like you are almost a part of the car, where you can hear everything (not that its loud by any means), feel everything....and I mean driver to mechanical (like a friggin Vulcan Mind Meld) then the GT3RS may be what you would sway towards. I would also add that I was somewhat shocked as how "nice" the car was on regular roads......... not a complaint at all. I personally like the Porsche for that reason, and even morseo this car. Its Wednesday and I'm still smiling from my drive this past weekend, and the only thing on my mind is the drive this coming weekend...........

I suspect you really can not go wrong with either my any means........ I mean whats not to like! (Hope that helped in some way)

You must have less crap flying at you than I do, my last car only had the leading edges clear bra'd and I got scratches on the hood, A pillars, silks, roof and rear bumper.

I am glad I wrapped the whole car and clear bra'd the head lights, mirrors, windshield and rear spoiler. The only thing I think you don't have to clear bra is the doors and engine lid, but that looks goofy, so I was stuck doing the entire car.. Still less then PTS and less worried about drafting to pass, good for 0.3sec a lap I figure ;-)
