Gt2 rs vs 458

Well, anyone thinking the GT2 RS will be as good as the new 458 is smoking something they should not. Just got back from Mont Tremblant driving school, and the 458 is way better than any Porsche will ever hope to be. I've got 8 porsches, but no matter the 458 is still better technologically. Can't wait to see the Challenge and Scud versions.............hilarious

Did you forget to drink the Porsche kool-aid this week?

So you drove a 458, did not drive a GT2 RS, yet you're confident that the 458 is superior. Got it.

LOL...hilarious

got it toooooo

too many porsches leak oil...........I've got a GT2 997 already.

If the 458 is so much better, then why is the GT2rs faster around Nurburgring?

Plus. The 458 has more power than your GT2, and the rs has much more power than the 458. I'm trying to figure your logic when you've never driven a GT2rs.

Sounds like you have issues. My car doesn't leak oil nor does any of the guys I know that own GT2s.

But even if are you dealing with oil leaking issues (which is frustrating and Porsche should definitely take care of it), I still think that's better than worrying about your 458 catching on fire:

Looks like Ferrari may have issued a recall (unconfirmed) on the 458. So much for that wonderful technology: http://jalopnik.com/5624193/ferrari-...sk-unconfirmed

Enough said

Ok guys I give up, it is hot in every way. My gt3 has had three RMS leaks and has been in shop for 6 weeks with another leak at 4,500 miles. My Gt2 is wonderful and never leaks. My turbo never leaks. The 458 is unbelievable in every way, nobody wants anything too hot except..... and I have agreed not driven the Gt2RS. Porsche as they say builds race cars and so does Ferrari. I think when and if you do get to drive the 458 you will agree the technology is amazing, perfect blend of race and street car in one box. I think the Gt3 is a better balance of that than the GT2 with the hot torque curve. I love them all, including the hotties. Cheers to all
