Caliper Bolts - Time-Sert / Studs?

I am replacing my front rotors this weekend as the cracks have grown large enough I don't want to chance them for another track day. After seeing the number of folks that have had problems with crossthread/stripping of the caliper bolts I am trying to better understand my options for dealing with this potential problem.
I have seen numerour references to the Time-Sert's product to deal with stripped threads as well as a number of comments regarding potential stud use instead. Unfortunately i haven't found an actual stud available. Has anyone gone down this route and if so could you point me in the direction of the products available?
