Help please pricing on 3's!
If a 400 miles loaded GT3 is sold for 90k, then a 10k miles no option GT3 should sell for under 80k.
The problem is that the 03 C4S are selling on the high 70s these days, and the 01 Turbos in the mid 80s, and there are thousands of those in the market.
With less than 1,000 GT3 in US, do you really think you can buy one for high 70s?

If Watt could arrange that deal, he'd buy it himself. Looks like someone is manipulating the market again.
Either that, or he really ripped me off on mine.
By the way, did you guys hear? Silver Challenge Stradales are only worth $140K wholesale, $150K retail.
Even at that price, I still wouldn't buy one!

that is really nasty, to imply that i ripped you off. your f.g car had 900 miles and priced as sold, if it had been stock it would have been about 87.5.

You are my good friend, and no way I would ever think you actually ripped me off. Besides, you don't take me for being that stupid, do you?

Tyson I remeber you posted somewhere about the reason taking the front diff out of a TT to make it like a GT2 is not a good idea can you reitorate these reasons here a friend of mine wants too do it and I am telling him not too it will not be the same as selling the car and buying a used GT2 he has the $$ not an issue for him. His car is already X50 which has the GT2 turbos and he mapped the ECU to GT2 specs (supposedly)...please help..

There are quite a few suspension differences between the GT2 and Turbo. The uprights/wheel carriers/hubs/monoballs instead of rubber bushings/control arms/links etc. are all different, as the GT2's is derived from the C2 and Mk. 1 GT3 parts bin in addition to the obvious things like springs and shocks. It would cost a pretty penny to upgrade the suspension to these parts, not to mention, you'd also have to upgrade brakes as well to fit the GT2 hubs. The steering rack is also different, as well as some other things here and there such as moonroof delete, etc. With GT2's being the supercar bargain of the century, it simply doesn't make sense to upgrade when you can have the real thing. I'd estimate your friend would have to spend at least $25,000 or so for the suspension alone, and no way he will recoup most of that money when it comes time to sell the car.
