I ran the Sharkwerks Track Exhaust and EvoMS Tune on my 3.6 and while i cant compare to that setup on a 3.8, it definitely pulled very hard. Unfortunately the amount of noise complaints I got from my building resulted in me having to remove the track exhaust. If you want to narrow that margin down between you and your friend, you should consider a set of quality headers, as that is where the gains to be had in the exhaust department are. Tune, Headers, exhaust, and a re-gear will definitely have your 3.6 giving 3.8s trouble on the track.

 

I would hope so and would be shocked if it wasnt.
