Sounds pretty good to me. I found this one at Jim Ellis Porsche in Atlanta about a month ago. It sold for $449K just minutes before I took these pictures.

If you look hard, you can find brand new 2004s for sub $400k. I had one ready to buy at $390k (brand new, 14 miles at Porsche dealer). Unfortunately, the prices were falling so quickly I thought I should hold off and try to get one in the mid 300s seveal months from now.

wow, tyson looks like it's a good buy. we know who's car is this. HAHA what's wrong with him anyways...

02TurboX50,
brand new for 390k? are they selling for under cost?? doesn't make too much sense to me here. i'd think the car is used with 14 miles?

Wow, ... 14 miles sounds really low. Mine rolled off the InterCity transporter showing 50 miles.

The previous low told to me by an owner was 27 miles.

All new cars have to come with some miles on them. Usually tested at the factory. Anything under 30 miles is usually a brand new car.

$390k is a solid deal on these cars, and yes, dealers are willing to take quite a loss to sell them because the supply is much higher than the demand at this point.

You should be able to find brand new 2004s (at a Porsche dealer) for sub $400k and brand new 2005s for just over $400k (closer to $410k). I certainly found them when I started looking.

Funny, there's a red one at Park Place in Dallas, I think they're still asking a 6-figure premium. Will probably get it too.

Up on very expensive, Porsche-part-numbered wood ramp blocks to raise the CGT enough to get the lift arms under it:

Notice the metal lift point adapters that attach to the carbon-fiber chassis socket-points. This is a snap of a front lift point with the adapter screwed in place.

The nylon strap threaded through the adapter-plate screw-eye, and then around the lift arm is to HOLD DOWN the CGT onto the lift arm. Otherwise, the car might flip backwards off the lift. The center of balance for the car is barely aft of the rear lift point.
