that pic of the instruments was taken right after it came off the truck, and the tires were deflated to normal pressures before I drove it home... I was told it's common practice to over-inflate tires during transport especially over long oceanic journeys, so as to prevent flat-spotting the tires.

Congratulations! ....... and yes, the break-in period is a pain, but, I've always doen it right and never had an issue so far. That color is outstanding, especially when you get it out into the light.
