My goal is to keep the original wheels (personally love the style) and get 325's later on. I'll be ordering the 245s and 305s by Thur/Friday and should have them on next week. I'll be able to report on AutoX, RoadTrip......and some good spirited driving in the mountain areas which are at a minimum monthly now.

I think I should have a decent comparison (and opinions) coming from the MPSC's. I'd unfortunately not have anything for the track/DEs pushing them to the limits at higher speeds and duration of those. (But its a start).

Hopefully most know that one tire will never satisfy all forms of driving........

 

Ordered the 245/35-19 (f) and 305/30-19 (r) SuperSports from TireRack (THANKS DAMON).......so once they get here next week we-will-see. Stay tuned!

 

Cancelled the order..... TR got back to me and suggested the rears in the SS's are not N-Spec and may not be a fit for the 12x19's, so I went with their advice on it. (Back to square one).... :-(

Have left a message for Luke to add me to "the list". Hopefully others will too and we can influence Michelin or others to make a good N spec high performance street tire.

 

Agreed it would be nice for someone to have a set of HP street tires for the GT2 and GT3RS. (I mean think of it, the only car they get vocal about was the 599 when the SuperSports were introduced, and if they think they are going to get some decent feedback on miles and such for that car, they will wait a looooong time). Come on Michelin, get the tires on some cars that are driven would ya!
