Queen, that would be awesome. My appt is next week. Thanks so much

Looking at tarret links now, buying the seats and rollcage next week, and calling forgeline about their wheels. Cant decide on 18 or 19's.
18s for the track for sure... otherwise 19 works

Either 18 or 19"s will work but the only drive to the track R-Comp tire left are Toyo R888. With 19" wheels you have a lot more choices for tires to try out and play with...4 models in R-comps I can think of right off hand you can drive to the track on. 19" is the new 18" these days it seems to me.

Check out the AWD rear toe links that Deputydog bought...I'm getting these next week too. Be sure to get the Tarrent Locking Plate for Rear Toe Links though...that, seats, roll bar, Schroth GT3 harness, Bre-Kraus Sub Bar, man sized torque wrench from tool topia, Wheels/Tires and brake pads and a fluid flush with either ProSpeed 683 or Motul RBF660 and you are ready.

Car looks sweet "show off" I say go black on the roll bar; keep the calipers yellow and start looking for a trailer in your future. That way you can go Hoosiers and go to tracks like Road Atlanta, VIR, Barber, etc.

Look forward to seeing it at Roebling soon. Congrats again!

Hahaha, thank you Ron for keeping me humble....

Cant decide on rollbar colors. I think black will look clean and nice, but its a gt3, so why not have a little fun with it and let the rollbar pop. Dont flame me

black. when you drive/park it on the street, you don't wanna attract attention to the interior. if you get black oz's as well, it will look really menacing. maybe even 'man of chile' grey as used by champion motorsport/werks 1 ?????

Jimmy, Going all black. Always what I do to my vehicles. I decided on forgelines. Here is a link to the wheel below. Only difference is the lip will be matte also.

I went with a GMG RSR rollbar, RSS X-Pipe, GT2 Buckets (Suncoast) and Schroth belts, Brey Krause Anti-Sub bar. I'm very happy with all of them. I liked the GMG RSR rollbar since it provides for a good range of seat motion. I just posted pics of my GT2 seat installation.

Would the yellow roll bar show much through the tint? (I don't have tint for my car but I'm thinking about it)

Btw, your car looks awesome! Congrats on getting your dream car!

if you tint, then that would hide it a little for sure. i never tint my car as i like to see out as best as i can. i suppose a warm climate like atlanta or florida could benefit from tinting though.
nick, forgelines look good in black.

Mike@AWD - Thanks Mike. So funny, any bday, or easter, its like a Godfather movie in the neighborhood. 30 black mercedes, couple of black bmw's, and MAYBE a brave newcomer with a black lexus.

The tint would hide a yellow rollbar at night, but daytime, it would show. I ALWAYS tint my cars. Just too hot here, and its nice to get into a car that isnt 500 degrees inside. These are the only pics I could find of yellow rollbars in 997's.

I kind of like the yellow bar. I will likely put a white bar to match my new white GT3.

I vote for yellow bar. Bring some contrast into the interior. Car looks great, congrats!
