Just picked up a used 08'GT2 about 2 weeks ago. Came from a 09'C2S which I modded and was very quick compared to stock but damn this gt2 is quite special. The handling and ride feel makes the non gt cars seem like a lexus in comparison ( I know I am exagerating a little), but a big difference. The speed is of course on a whole new level. I planned on keeping it stock for at least a few months to get a base line feel for its performance then I made the mistake of just calling around to get opinions and prices for mods.
So yesterday I had RSS in costa mesa ( great and professional guys) do EVOMS tune, 200cell sport cats, and brv's. The power difference was much more then expected and the aggressive sound under load is a great. The brv's also add a cool sound as they release the boost. Cant wait to get more seat time.
So Mike at RSS says to me as I drive off back to San Diego, "the reprogrammed ecu needs to learn your driving style so do not be afraid to floor it a lot, and by the way do not get any tickets".
Everytime I floored it I found myself doing triple digits and then slamming on the brakes so I dont get handcuffed.

 

the gt2 and the law have never been on the same side...the car sounds AWESOME!!!!

 

Yeah, I love how some of the small mods really waken up these turbo cars

sweet car, I have GT2 envy quite often!

 

I have very similar mods to what you have, and I put 560hp to the wheels on a day when it was 112 degrees with high humidity :-)

Hands down best Pcar I have owned!!

Been very tempting. Actually got pulled over for speeding yesterday but the cop was to far back to see how fast I was going, he could just tell that I accelerated hard and it was loud. But I got away with a warning, he tried to get me to admit guilt but I have been very educated with all the traffic schools I have attended

 

The track is a place to let it all out, really kept me out of constant three digit drive
