Where in NY? I have a 996 gt3 around westchester. Let's go for a cruise in the spring.

You need to wear them out a little before they're good on the track. I needed just over 500 miles on them before they started performing decently...

Thinking of trying the Trofeo next. What other tires have you had on your car at the track to compare them with?

I had Trofeos and they only lasted about 1200 miles till they corded and blistered.

They felt really good on track and almost seemed to ride softer on the street. But, with a short lifespan I went back to the Corsa systems and I am now trying my first set of MPSC.

What do yall think of the Bstone Re11's as compared to the Supersports. I have never tried the Michelin but I sure do love the Re11's on my track R6 Audi. I still even really like the old faithfull Goodyear GS-D3 for many situations.

The problem with MSPC is they are still bound by HC and they wear out really quickly.

I haven't tried MP Super Sports but I've read great reviews for the street. I have been driving on Bridgestone RE-11 and really enjoy them. Plenty of grip and can be driven in rain as well

I've driven both super sports and RE-11s. They are very similar I think except I think turn in is a little better on the super sports. RE-11s are very heavy. Super sports wear is much better and that's saying a lot because the RE-11 wear is excellent.

Let us know what you think of the new Super Sports - absolute traction, predictability, linear break away, road noise, esp. vs. the Cups. Thanks!

I can answer that.

Absolute traction - much better on the MPSC.
Linear break away - super sports more communicative with this respect. They "talk" to you a lot and squeal a lot at the limit.
Road noise - much less on the super sports.
Durability - much better on the super sports.

The super sport is a good all round tire that performs well on the track (and rain). The MPSC is much better on the track (not in rain). If performance is what you want, MPSC is the one. If reasonable performance with durability is what you want, Super Sports are the one.
