I just noticed this (why, after close to a year I noticed this now), but my yellow upshift indicator light is not lighting up. I admit that I take her up close to the redline and I have never seen the upshift indicator light up. I read through the manual and it describes it in there, but does not indicate that it can be turned off or on (which is what I assumed - that it was off). I know .2 GT3s have it and I have seen it working in one that I drove, but in my .1, it has never lit up.

Any thoughts? I know that I am probably glad that the thing isn't always lighting up, but still curious......

Yes, I thought the same thing when driving mine, but then I ACTUALLY took it right into redline and the yellow shift light came on.

 

I think I achieved a stage 6 overrev! Hope nobody sees that when you sell it to buy the 991 RS......

Actually saw it on one I test drove before buying mine. Sounds like taking it to the redline will cause it to light up. I guess I am not driving mine correctly then!
