2011 997.2 GT3 Service Recall WC08

I went to my local dealer to get an oil change. They told me that there is a service recall "WC08" and the only description they gave me was "Reprogramming DME Control Unit."

I currently have an EvoMS tune in my car. I'm wondering if this "reprogramming DME Control Unit" will wipe out the tune.

Does anyone know what this WC08 does? If it's not necessary, I would prefer not to get this done.

Thanks

Jason

Definitely call evoms and ask them. They might make some recommendations that will work in your favor.

I had the recall done on my '11RS
Service advisor said it due to some cars showing zero oil pressure on start up
DME reflashed and on my way..no problem

I just had this done when my car was in the shop. They asked to make sure if I had software on it before they did the upgrade. Apparently it will erase the software.
