gee ben, i think 3 gt2's qualifies as direct experience

8500 is high on pccb. ready for replacement
i bought a 75 mile 03 gt2 18 months ago for 140.

uncertified that car is 120, or less if you assume 10k new brakes, certified 130 at best

watt, i think you misunderstood my post. i didn't say or even imply YOU didn't have direct experience. it was a "general" request from those with direct experience. i'm well aware of your direct experience and am glad you chose in this post to elaborate for me as it is helpful.

fwiw, for a non track (or hard mountain) driven PCCB car, 8500 miles is meaningless. the owner's previous car was an F40 and he is very **** about his cars.

Does it have black wheels? I see one around here quite often. It's also silver/black.

Was joking about getting a 2, I much prefer the 3... Kinda like Tip vs. 6-speed; sure one is easier to drive fast, but the other is more involving - and could never be considered gay.

You have it the other way around. It is much more difficult to drive the GT2 really fast.... I would hardly call the GT2 'gay' especially as compared to the feminine shape of the narrow bodied GT3.

Ben,

Recently Pioneer in San Diego offered me $120K in trade for my 2003 Seal Grey GT2 with 2,500 miles, so I kept it. I think with 8,500 miles priced in the $125 to $135 range is reasonable. I am also in Laguna Niguel, but haven't bumped into your friend yet.
