Service Now - What does it mean?

2007 GT3 - there are no codes in Durametric, but when starting the car, there is a message appearing that says "Service Now". It goes away within a few seconds but it's there every time I start the car. What does it mean and how can it be cleared?

My guess is it might be a sensor about to go bad. Best bet is to take it to a good independent mechanic or a dealer, if you're on good terms with the SA there.

On another note, update your sig and avatar! Let's see that 07 GT3!

zweebach is infamous around these parts
Had this in my Cayenne; dealer said that it is the service interval reminder. I think it comes on 1 year after the last service date.

Thanks for the info - I was able to reset the service interval using the Durametric. (It's under the instrument panel commands.)

I was hoping I was missing something about the nature of the service required - I thought there might be a menu item to display what particular item had reached its interval. Apparently the system is not that sophisticated - bummer!

P.S. - Unfortunately , it was not my GT3...
