Anyone know the buildup/reason/development process of the slightly revised Porsche's not being on pace this year?

My Sebring coverage on my DVR turned out to be some public access bible thumping crap. XBox live to the rescue and I got to see the whole thing a week later.

 

The 997 chassis has just been stretched to the limit.. It 7 years old.. The main thing is the wheel base.. Its just not long enough and can't be made long enough in the 997 shell...

The 991 RSR has a new guy overseeing the development and will be VERY awesome.. Nothing is being held back.. They are approaching the development differently then the 997 which is based on customer programs and needs to see some type of profit..

 

great pics, Loved them. The post race carnage was amazing. The cars look soo good in the aftermath shots. Interesting to read the kingleh post also.

Thanks for posting these in a place where I was fortunate enough to get a chance to see them. cheers. Sebring was an amazing race and I watched the whole 12 hours
