Tom(Atl) is infamous around these parts
Rear bumper bracket - broken? Replacement?

I have a new squeaking noise on the rear left of my car when I drive at speed (75 mph+).

I noticed that while the bumper appears to be completely in place, it now has some play in it if you try to move it (right behind the rear driver tire).

I believe the bumper is moving around and causing a squeaking noise, I believe the bracket is broken. I'm going to get it on a lift and look at it.

Do you know if this is common, and how much it would cost to repair / replace a broken rear bumper bracket / reinforcement?

Does anyone know part numbers that I would potentially need?

never heard of such issue. did someone bump into you? when you say bumper has some play and make noises, are you referring to the bumper cover? check all the bolts on the wheel well and under side of the bumper cover to see if anything is cracked or loose
