Glass of Champagne with Shark Werks Exhaust & Evomsit Software on the RS

This white and champagne 2011 GT3RS came into us for a quick snack that included the Shark Werks exhaust along with the EVOMSit software for better sound and an even edgier throttle response.

In she comes:

There's that stock center exhaust about to get the boot:

The stock titanium tips are pretty nice so we're going to retain those:

On goes the SharkWerks sound system along with the stock tips mated:

And then it's over to the flashing station where the DME is programmed with the EVOMSit tuning set for 91 octane, with left-foot braking enabled and improved throttle response. The 16-18 extra HP doesn't hurt either!

And ready to go home:

She'll be back for a few more track-aimed goodies shortly:

Hey Alex don't forget this one

This 2011 GT3RS took a day off from the race track to come in for some R&R -- a bit of makeover in the form of a 60/40 Guard LSD, steel Brembo Type III rotors, and the engine coolant fix we've talked about in the past.

Here she is rolling in with the OEM PCCB rotors:

A bit later, the bumper and some of the underside suspension parts are removed:

The stock exhaust is in place for meeting the tricky 92 dB limit at Laguna Seca, but the car does have a Shark Werks exhaust somewhere in hibernation.

James makes it look easy, here's the engine out and ready to button up the coolant pipes that we've seen fail so many times on the GT3 and Turbo models:

Holy smokes, look at the size of that hole!

Here's one of several coolant lines, after pinning to keep them in place:

While he's in there, the differential is removed for an upgrade:

The weak stock unit was pretty rough after only a few track days, so it's sent out to Guard.

Meanwhile, we look at the stock PCCBs:

Some Brembo Type III steel replacements so the priceless ceramic rotors aren't destroyed:

Guard sends back our limited slip differential in record time:

A test drive would confirm this one works much better than the brand new / OEM and especially worn version.

And here she is, engine re-installed, coolant replaced, brakes all tested and ready for another trip around Laguna Seca:

A little blue and she would be just right for a 4th of July party!
