Bruce, it seems to be loudest in the cockpit when on the throttle between 2k and 3k rpm...at cruise or highway speed it is relatively quiet...(compared to wot)...I'm still undecided...I don't hot rod it around town as much as I did when it was quiet so that might be a good thing...
