Yokohama ADVAN A048

I was wondering if anyone had used these tires. Are they as good (performance/cost) as the MPSC? Could you get 295 or 315 sizes somewhere? Thx!

love the yokos 048, use them for track only since last year. The yokos will outlast the MPSC.The only reason for changing to MPSC is the availability of correct size for the rear.kept hearing that it suppose to be out in june/july??The MPSC are a lot quieter n rides better,on the track both offers tremendous grip.

If you check this link http://www.yokohamatire.com/pdf/AO48.pdf they say that the 235/40/18 and 315/30/18 are available (sizes I'd use). Is this correct, or is it only in Japan? Thx!

experience both on the track under wet conditions n personally the yokos felt more predictable.By looking at the tread pattern, the yokos seem to hv better water drainage.
