How do the RA-1s compare grip-wise to Corsas or Cups?

No worries Guy. So here's my take and this is just an _opinion_ since I'm no tire manufacturer nor a pro driver With the various levels of power that I've had over the years and the different tracks I've been on I've actually used/owned all three kinds. I like the PSC's but until they get heated up they are pretty slippy. Super hard compound but they do last a long time. The corsas don't last as long and have a softer compound but seem to be pretty grippy right off of the bat. The RA-1s are my favorite, super sticky and I've managed to get much better traction (especially from a stop etc..) with them than any other tire to date. ALMS cars were using them like 3 years ago and I don't know what they use now but if it's good enough for them....

Thanks.

I've got a couple of spare sets of Corsas to use yet, but perhaps after these I'll get some Toyos to try. The idea of 335s sounds great.

Really, the only way to get a 12" wheel is to have one custom made if you want aftermarket stuff....like the Kinesis or HRE stuff if that suits your taste. Porsche is OK with using a 315 on a 12" wheel on their 18" OEM setup so I think using a 315/25/19 on a 19x12 is acceptable.
