The 2010+ 997 Gen II GT3 is one incredible street/track car. With their fine tuning to focuses on improving the cars power curve. With some additional programming to adjust the cars timing and air fuel mixtures. Throttle response is much quicker with the low end torque coming to life faster. The throttle blipping is more easily done and the entire car is more enjoyable to drive. As tested on a Mustang AWD Dyno using 91 octane, Able to gain an increase of 25 wheel horsepower and 16ft/lbs of torque.

Baseline numbers were 360hp 252ft/lbs and tuned was 385hp 268ft/lbs.

Don't mean to step on your toes, but shouldn't your GT3RS rev to 8500 RPMs? Maybe that explains the really low wheel horsepower numbers since it's below the peak power in the rev range.

also comparing the best run of both files would be nice for a more accurate reading.

You do not expect imitators to understand these cars do you? It is a learning curve and they need to copy a few parts first and read the originators threads first to try and understand how things actually work.

We ran the car to 8000rpm ish. When on the dyno, that comes up real quick and did not want to bounce on the rev limiter. However since the car needed to be run in AWD and if you take the Mustang correction factor, the wheel horsepower numbers are actually dead on. .

Thx
Dan

PS this car has been sold as we await for the 991 Turbo.

Just shows that once again, Softronic does an amazing job with their tuning.

But you didn't take it to redline or close to its peak power, so how can you say that your numbers are dead on? I'm not denying the correction factor but you didn't get an accurate reading on the peak power, you stopped below the RPM it was designed to operate at/to (700 RPMs short of usable powerband) -- I know it's a scary thought but that ignition cutout rev-limiter is there by design, it won't hurt the car to bounce off it in the name of science. Your customers will rev it that high, I hope you at least know what your software will do when it reaches those RPMs.

We've probably revved our cars to that limit a gazillion times, especially when dynoing. I think we've made 250 dyno pulls on our blue car since we picked it up even and every time we took it to the rev limiter. It looks like you came up with your optimal tune after only 3 runs from the image posted... we made 100s of dyno passes to come up with our initial tune, then revised over the year with more miles and street driving.

I just think it's too bad you sold the car so soon because you never got to enjoy it at 8500 RPMs where it should be

I normally won't post stuff like this, but why on earth did you dyno a RWD GT3 on an AWD dyno and not decouple the front rollers? Makes no sense to me.
