Lease it and pay sales tax only on the lease payments. You've got finance charges though.

I know one person who formed a leasing company to buy and own their aircraft, and sales tax was not owing on the purchase. They then lease the planes to their company, and the company pays sales tax on the lease payments.

You need a strategy based on the state the car will be kept and used in, as sales and use tax implications vary from state to state.
