I am interested in buying a 997 GT2. And i will tune it, i have som questiones though..

1. Are there different turbos on the GT2 compared to the 997 turbo mk.1? And how about the turbos on mk.2?

2. Does the GT2 have better intercoolers compared to turbo mk.1?

3. The 997 turbo mk.2 has the same intercoolers as the GT2 RS?

4. What kind of power do you get with a good tune and full exhaust without cats, 600?

I really appreciate all kind of answers, and if someone have a nice "stage 1" GT2 please share your experience.

Yes, all those components are different.
Personally, the gt2 is a beast bone stock.

 

The standard compressor wheel is different on the 997.1 turbo - the GT2 wheel is bigger. It is, however, the same on the 997.2, but the 997.2 has a different housing.

The turbos all have the same size exducer, 56mm.
The 997.1 inducer is 43mm and the GT2 and 997.2 inducer is 45mm.

All the 997.1s have the same ICs. All the 997.2 share the same ICs...ie 07-09 997TTs and 08-09 GT2s have the same ICs.
